The randoms.

a very random thought.

some days, i feel like a fraud. i fancy monochrome, adore chunky rings and oversized blazers (read: very un lilypirates-que). i would very much like to live in a belted oversized knitted tunic and brown boots, if i could.

but oh, i believe everyone has contradictions like this, when you roll out of bed, feeling like a different entity that hopped into bed last night. you might feel like roses and dainty earrings today, when it was smokey eyes and wild hair the day before.

so i say, give in your random whims and fancy, because it never works to be just a one style girl. have fun, because honestly, that's what fashion is all about. no one is going to tell you right or wrong, the most they can throw you is: i can't appreciate the look. i have always been a firm believer that we can embrace all styles; it's not necessary to adopt things wholesale, just grab an element or two that you fancy, and make it work in your outfit.

all it takes is a little gungho-ness, a little spirit, and that tiny bit of self belief.

random thought #2, very slow to mention but my favourite ad campaign this fall has to be the louis vuitton one. i love how marc jacobs never fail to surprise, and this time, he really did hit it for me. the very lady vibe of the entire collection just bowled me over the first time i laid eyes on it. i spent considerable time getting mesmerized, everytime i flip open my style/female/herworld/nuyou. and yes, does anyone know who is the the model in the dkny ad? she is outofthisworld gorgeous! :O

on a similar note, i am blown away by Chloé Spring 2011 RTW. time to start consolidating designs for the LP label!

also time to remember i have a s95 stowed away somewhere, so it's high time i utilise it as much as i should.
